Aparaa Natural Food Products is based in Chennai, with its foundational roots in Rajahmundry — the cultural capital of Andhra Pradesh and home to the famous mango pickle.

In Rajahmundry, people make every effort to celebrate their cuisine in every meal. Our pickles and podis are made with locally sourced regional ingredients and ancestral recipes, intricately blended to give you the rich taste of traditional Andhra flavours. Every jar is handmade with a lot of love and care.
Our range of around 30 pickles and podis is known for its spice, its textures and colours, and that mouth-watering taste you remember from home.
As a home-grown brand, we also create employment in rural communities for women who make pickles and podis in their own households.
Our founders
Giridhar & Krishnakumari Mylavarapu
Taking forward the rich tradition of Andhra’s pickles and podis, the founders of Aparaa hail from Rajahmundry. Together they studied their family traditions intensely and devotedly before introducing the brand.
Mr Giridhar brings three decades of experience marketing consumer products for reputed brands, and an innate understanding of what people want. Mrs Krishnakumari, originally from Tirumala, brings three decades of traditional food preparation — and the creative instinct to cook for tastes then and now.
